Product Description Whether you're trying to keep up with the kids at the rink or just out to have some good old-fashioned fun with the girls, this classic women's quad roller skate from Chicago is a great way to get started. The skate features a traditional high top profile boot to support your ankles and a simple eyelet/speed hook lacing system that allows you to adjust the fit as you go. The indoor/outdoor urethane wheels, which hold up well against the normal wear and tear of skating, provide great traction and control, and the semi-precision bearings keep you rolling smooth and fast. An aluminum base plate with adjustable truck provides easy turning and control. The skate is available in white and comes in sizes one through eleven. It's covered by a 30-day warranty.

I Really Like My Skates...! March 10, 2010 Zima65 (Ohio) These skates rock. Buy a size or 1/2 size smaller, adjust the wheels to your liking, and your good to go. You might want to upgrade the wheels later depending on your skating level. Pimp them out a little bit with laces and wheels. It took a little longer than usual to receive them, but received a shipping upgrade and received them in 2 days. I forgot how fun roller skating was. Give it a try:)
Skating! March 1, 2010 Teri L. Montano (Honolulu, HI) Love the skates just waiting for the Kryptonic wheels to make it easier outside on the road and will probably increase my 4 rating to a 5! Great customer service! I'd definitely recommend this seller to my friends and family!
Roller Skating again February 12, 2010 Jeanne B. (LAKEWOOD, CALIFORNIA, US) I decided to get into roller skating again after bike riding at the beach and see other women my age (over 35) roller skating and realized what a good way to exercise. I wanted roller skates that weren't too expensive in case I didn't like it. I've tried them out a few times and after a few shaky starts realize I'm glad I bought them. I bought a smaller size as the reviews suggested and am very happy with my purchase.
Excited! And happy. February 4, 2010 Ashley Ravel (Michigan) I just received these today. I've been very anxious to get these!
1. I'm a bigger woman, and often buy wide-width shoes. I normally wear a 7.5/8 shoe, but based on the reviews I went with a size 7. Definitely the right choice: they're not tight at all, nothing digs into my feet, length wise they're right... and the upper parts fit my calves well too (mostly due to the laces.) Also, the soles inside are really cushioned. I was worried I'd need inserts, but these are great!!
2. I haven't used them too much (I'm very much a beginner) but they seem to roll pretty well. I would also recommend (For comfort as well as retro nostalgia!) wearing knee-high tube socks. I also liked/appreciated that there were very thorough and adequate directions for care and upkeep as well as replacement.
3. I don't know where the problem occurred, but the box for the skates was completely beaten up. I would have liked to use the box to store the skates, but it's just...impossible.
Good value, comfortable, and cute! Worth every penny!
Totally Awesome! February 2, 2010 B. JOHNSON (NC) These skates are amazing quality and style for the price.
Two things to remember:
They run VERY big I am an 8 1/2 in shoes and a 7 fits comfortably.
They are slow when you get them, BUT they have a handy tool that comes with them. If you can skate, simply take the tool--loosen the bearings in the wheels and voila super fast wheels. This is also good because you can adjust how fast your wheels go based on your skate level.
The boot is high quality and all the parts are metal not plastic. This is an absolutely perfect beginner to intermediate skate.
Can't wait to hit the rink!!!
